Wittgenstein e la filosofia nella vita umana

Abstract

The article takes its cue from the texts contained in a special issue of the journal «Il Pensiero» published on the occasion of the centenary of the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus. The first part focuses on some of these texts, drawing attention to Wittgenstein’s conception of “philosophy” based in part on texts contained in the Philosophical Investigations. The author devotes similar attention to a text by Dario Antiseri, which focuses in particular on Wittgenstein’s distance from Neopositivism. In the second part, commenting on some passages from the Lecture on Ethics and comparing them to some propositions of the Tractatus, the author discusses the concept of “signifying language” and the criterion of demarcation from “faith” established by Wittgenstein.
